GLP Soil and Water Characterization Services

AGVISE Laboratories participates in the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Standards compliance monitoring program, through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), to ensure the quality and integrity of analysis data submitted to the EPA in support of a pesticide product registration under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). We hold GLPS compliance for soil and water characterization services.

We offer a full array of GLP-compliant soil and water characterization services. Please contact us for information on GLP-compliant services and pricing.

Research Project Media (Soil, Sediment, Water Collections)

AGVISE Laboratories offers collection and distribution of research project media for greenhouse and laboratory studies. We offer a wide selection of soil, sediment, and water media sourced from the Midwest and Great Plains of the United States. The research project media are often utilized in environmental fate and transport studies and metabolism studies in the pesticide registration process.

The soil collection sites include coarse-, medium-, and fine-textured soils; acidic and alkaline pHs; and soil organic matter content ranging from 1 to 12%. Some soils are available at pesticide-free collection sites.

Current List of Soil, Sediment, and Water Sources Available (updated April 2026)

Analysis and characterization of media are charged separately. Additional services such as sieving of soil and sediment or purging with gaseous nitrogen or argon are charged separately.

If you are interested in ordering soil, sediment, or water media, please contact us.
